Tall Ships in Stavanger Harbour during 2004 race

On 28th – 31st July 2011 Stavanger harbour will open its doors to welcome 100 of the world’s most beautiful sailing ships for the Tall Ships Race 2011. These boats will be racing from Ireland to Sweden, with stops along the way in Scotland and here in Norway. As the boats will be berthed in the harbour for the 4 days of the stop, there will be plenty of opportunities to soak up the sea-faring atmosphere and join in with singing of some sea shanty songs!
