Many have hoped this day would come, and now it has. You can now shop for your groceries online! Matvareexpressen (aka: MvE) is an online grocery delivery service has now came to Stavanger after being only in Haugesund. Check out the site here.
So how does it work? You make a list and pick when it is to be delivered: either Monday or Wednesday (weekends in the future). You can make multiple favorites list and then just add them to your cart – this sounds like a very handy feature. Make an account on MvE and create your list. If you have any issues call 40001701 or email stavanger@mve.no

I haven’t tried it yet, but so excited this concept is finally here! Next they’ll be bagging our groceries!
I’ll be interested to see how the prices are and if the delivery is performed on time.

Too funny I would read this just after I found out they have a grocery delivery service here in Lafayette trying to get started as well…Now it would come to Stavanger too?! After all those times I slogged out into the weather to the corner grocery or drove there because of it – maybe once even on my bike in rare good weather…I would of so loved to be a Shopper for them, if I were still there?! I mean we were already driving all over town & beyond to track down groceries for the Red Crossing Cooking Group?! Well–Enjoy Stavanger?! ;o)
