Hotel and Food Costs
The EU directive states that airlines should cover hotel accommodation, food and transportation between the airport and the hotel up to 200 euros per day if the flight is cancelled due to restrictions arising from the closure of the airspace.
Both Norwegian and SAS follow the EU directive to provide hotels and food for its passengers who have not been able to make their way home on time due to the volcanic ash. You will have to contact the airlines directly to claim these costs.

In the United States and Thailand, SAS covers up to USD200 a day. The rates for other countries are available on SAS.

Parking Fees
Avinor has decided to not demand payment for vehicles that are parked in the airport parking lots because of the airspace closure.
Where prepaid parking has expired, they will refrain from imposing fines or towing away cars.
And where the customer pays the fee when the vehicle is retrieved, Avinor will refund the difference between what you paid and what you were supposed to pay.
You will find more information about this in Avinor. Google Translate will help.
