
Randi Mannsåker is a professionally qualified life/personal and corporate coach, NLP Practitioner, Small Business and Youth Coach. She is a graduate protègè student from the Coaching Academy in London, Europe’s largest and most experienced coach training school. Randi has a Diploma in Business Management from the Association of Business Executives UK.
She has worked in financial
institutions, aviation and in sales and marketing. She has extensive international experience. Her background being both from Norway and New Zealand has given her a unique cross cultural perspective. Being born in Norway, growing up in New Zealand and living in Australia and the UK has given her the ability to understand and adapt to the challenges one faces in ‘change’ environments and in relocating individually and with a family. She takes an enthusiastic approach to coaching and is energetic, challenging and creative with her clients.

EXPATRIATE WORKSHOP
WORK SHOP OBJECTIVE: The workshop brings attention to your perspective as an expatriate and the steps needed to change/manage this perspective and feel empowered. The use of specially developed coaching techniques and principles during the workshop creates an upbeat atmosphere with focus on positive mindset and solutions, rather than criticism, comparisons, defensiveness and stonewalling.
Presentation of the 5 phases related to relocating – 15 minutes
• ‘Honeymoon’ phase
• ‘Reality’ phase
• ‘Feel good’ phase
• ‘Like home’ phase
• ‘Moving home’ phase
Group work – 45 minutes
Split into teams, the group lists what challenges one faces as an expat. The process is then to establish positive outcomes for each of these challenges. Each team then presents their top two outcomes. Discussion around the importance of these results.
Group Coaching session – 30 minutes
Raising awareness of each individual in the group as to competencies and specific actions needed in order for them to achieve their goal based on group work and discussions.

About Cynthia Myrnes
Cynthia is a Singaporean who has been living in Stavanger since Feb 2008 with her Norwegian husband. She works as a physiotherapist here and also owns her own petsitting service, Stavanger Petsitter, for the residents of Stavanger. In addition, she manages the Stavanger International Moms group. She loves hanging out with friends, spending time with animals, travelling and watersports such as scuba diving and wake boarding. Most of all, she is enjoying the experience of being a first time mom!
