On the farm there is everything from the warm and homely to the spectacular and unique.

Byrkjedalstunet Light is a place rich in experience housed in an old Candle factory. The shop has a large selection of self-produced candle’s in addition to the exciting interior decoration items, souvenirs, wood, wool, stones and minerals, glass art, visual arts, Christmas items and much more! In the store you will also find the “Children’s Place” where kids can color their own candles.

CHRISTMAS DINNER OF COMPANY, TEAM AND ASSOCIATIONS
On Byrkjedalstunet we have long experience of Christmas. We welcome everything from small groups, to meetings on several hundred. With larger companies we open the doors to the enchanting Gloppehallen. With a capacity of over 600 people, provides the distinctive hall a great frame for any major event. Leave the planning to us. We help you with music, entertainment, transport and anything that
desired.
“OPEN HOUSE” – Gloppehallen
Saturday November 28 and Saturday 12 December we open for orders from smaller groups for a great Christmas buffet in Gloppehallen and dancing to live music. Doors open 19:00 and full of Christmas buffet served from 19.30. The cost for live music will be shared between the different groups.
CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH THE FAMILY
Food is important at Christmas. Sometimes it might be nice to take a trip out of the familiar surroundings for diversion and enjoyment. Want to take your family on a nice meal before Christmas, when is Byrkjedalstunet a unique alternative. Our kitchen provides the best of Norwegian Christmas food in the most evocative of surroundings.
TRUE TO TRADITION
Sunday 15 November, we serve the first Pinnekjøtt and Pork ribs. From this date we have Christmas dinner on the menu every day until July. Dinner is served from 12.00 and the menu consists of the best in good, old-fashioned Norwegian Christmas food.
CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
We have our own Christmas loft on Byrkjedalstunet, where goblins of all shapes provide an experience for young and old. In the oval, we sell art, both paintings and glass and leather goods. In addition, we have a separate lysstøper, where kids can dip their own candles. With us you will find the gift for your aunt who has everything already.
LODGING
Accommodation is also part of Byrkjedalstunet. The comfort of the rooms are state of the art. Each room has its own charm and you will sleep in comfortable beds, with goose down quilt’s and pillow. We have 25 overnight rooms divided into single, double and family rooms and several suites and junior suites.
